SAGANO

You will sightseeing in Sagano district on a traditional rickshaw (human-powered vehicle). Rickshaw or “Jinrikisha” in Japanese means “human-powered vehicle” and it features a light, two-wheeled cart consisting of a doorless body pulled by a person. Rickshaw drivers are expert of the area and they can speak different languages. Moreover, they are friendly and energetic guides!

Sagano is located in the northern area of Togetsukyo Bridge far from the crowds featuring a peaceful atmosphere, you can feel as though you have traveled back in time to the Heian Period, a period featuring lavish culture and graceful poetry.
