Seasonal Wagashi Making Experience

Our popular Wagashi workshop is back!

 This time, you will create two kinds of autumn-inspired sweets:

a moist and delicately sweet steamed yokan and colorful nerikiri shaped to reflect the beauty of nature in autumn.

Even if you have never made wagashi before, don’t worry.

With the gentle and professional guidance of Wagashi Master Koie-sensei, you will easily learn the tips and techniques while enjoying the process.

Wagashi are often called “edible art,” a traditional Japanese culture that beautifully reflects the seasons. Shaping your own sweets feels like creating small works of art, and tasting them brings a special joy.

Make it, see its beauty, taste the flavor. Enjoy this hands-on experience with all your senses.

You can taste your creations during the workshop and also take them home as a lovely gift. This event is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or nationality.
